Valentine's Day a couple of years ago I observed a couple in intense conversation. The scene stuck with me and I finally finished the painting this spring.
We experienced the warmth of John as he assisted our 11 yr. old G'daughter get the door of her dreams for her studio shed. Ballycanoe is a special place. Thank you John.
